The Society for Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), an organization based in Delhi is hosting a street theatre competition, ‘YOUTHRA BANGALORE 2018’, between several Bangalore college/university teams, on the theme of ‘Democracy in Everyday Life (#DIEL)’, on February 11, 2018 at Vega City Mall, Bannerghatta Road from 3 PM onwards. Youthra is the annual festival of the Youth & Democracy campaign run by PRIA, which aims to reach 1 million youth and capture their voices on #DIEL. We have already covered 12 locations across India and captured about 12,000 youth voices. The campaign has also reached out to international platforms, and is gathering much attention from all circles. Youthra Bangalore is already up on several social media circles, and is garnering much attention and excitement! We hope that you will be able to join us on February 11, to witness some passionate performances by students and stimulating conversations on ‘Democracy in Everyday Life’. Be at Vega, and experience the beauty of young talents coming together to voice their opinions on important social issues, which are both locally relevant and globally important! Helping shape minds of Young children, Vega City hosted Pottery making classes on the 25th of December for the young minds of Bengalureans
With Christmas around the corner, Vega City brought joy early for Bengalureans with carols and songs, decorating the large Christmas tree and with a surprise visit from Santa.
Vega City hosted recycling classes on the 24th of December. Teaching the importance of Recycling, and opening the doors of reusing the recycled materials to the younger generations of Bengaluru, making it a fun and interactive session.

On the 26th November to the 3rd of December the shoppers at Vega City sought to seek the knowledge of the future with a renowned Tarot cards reader.
For centuries jugglers have awed audiences and the Cycle Jugglers that performed at Vega City were no different.

It's not easy as it looks, but these girls made it look, not just easy, but beautiful. Their graceful moves elevated the crowd making them twirl their hips to the tunes.
During 24th November to 1st of December, Vega City ensured that all the hands of women and girls were made to look not just beautiful but also like a piece of art.
Next up was the Iranian Sufi folk dance form of Tanura where dancers donned brightly colored dressed to brighten the ambience for the visitors.
The Mirror Man gave the visitors many angles to view and admire the beauty within and of the stunning surrounding they were in.
Ukrainian art performance of "Shooting Star" where a graceful dancer performs acrobatics on a ten-foot pole, entices its visitors with breath-taking moves and twirls.
The Red Carpet Lady, the symbol of grace that welcomes its patrons, ushered in Bengalureans into the foyer of the mall, by allowing patrons to walk on her long red dress that also doubled as a red carpet at the entrance.
Vega City opened its doors to global fashion accompanied with a variety of music to suit the mood of it’s shoppers and Bengaluru's weather.
Keeping to its promise of bringing international trends, colors and fashion to Bengaluru, Vega City invited and hosted various performances of global artistes and art forms during its launch on the 24th of November 2017.
